I’ve noticed something. I can’t tell if it’s necessarily a good thing, but it kind of is? I’ll explain.
I’ve noticed that once I’ve been to an electronica/dubstep/whatever show and heard a song and been in the club atmosphere and experienced the sound fully, I find it really difficult to fully enjoy the same song after the show.
I don’t mean to say that the show ruins the music for me. Not at all. I just get this almost sick feeling of…excitement and happy memories in the pit of my stomach. My chest gets a little tight and all I can think about is how amazing it was in the moment. And then listening to the song without that feeling, without that vibe…it doesn’t always feel right.
Does that make sense to anyone else? I’ve experienced the same sensation with certain other genres/types of music, too, so it isn’t necessarily unique to electronic music. Anyway, just a thought that came to mind.
Tonight.
Borgore is the only musician I will ever ask to sign my tits. It’s appropriate.
